Dr. Shumskiy is an experienced Metallurgist with diversified production and scientific background in melting and remelting of specialty steels and superalloys, Powder Metallurgy, casting, hot-working, heat treatment, and testing.
Dr. Shumskiy has in-depth expertise in materials science and high-temperature experiment techniques. Dr. Shumskiy has developed and implemented new stainless steel grades for steam and nuclear power plant equipment and incorporated these materials in metallurgical and machine works production of heavy forgings, plates, pipes, tubes, and castings. His credits include more than 30 years of materials and metallurgy experience as well as 26 patents and 28 scientific and engineering publications.
